ILLUSTRATOR: type on a path name

First i went to the "line segment tool" and made two lines and connected them. Then I used the type on a path tool and typed my name. Then at the end i deleted the lines.

For this Picture it was pretty easy. All I did was make a circle. Then I clicked the type on a path tool and typed "MULTI MEDIA DESIGN" around the circle and deleted it. Lastly i made a bigger circle around the words to make it look fancy.

For this awesome shape it took alot of work. First of all i put a hexagon on the page. Then i copied it and made another, after that i turned the one a little bit and put it on top of the other one making a star looking shape then i combined them. After that i made a long skinny rectangle and placed it on the star shape at 90 degrees. Then I highlighted the shapes and clicked "subtract" and it deleted the rectangle and left an empty space between. After that i repeated the process 4 times turning the rectangle a little bit everytime.

For this CLipping mask i went to google images and got a picture of art that i like. Then I typed my name in bold letters, all caps, and big font. After that I highlighted the name and picture. Then i went to "object" went down to "clipping mask" and clicked "create" and I got what is below.

ILLUSTRATOR: combining shapes

For this assignment i made three yellow rectangles with rounded corners. They are yellow with black boarders. Also inside the rectangles i made an assorment of circles big and small. Then I "subtracted" the circles out of the rectangles making it now resemble cheese.

ILLUSTRATOR: clipping mask

First i got a picture i liked from google which happen to be a picture of cookies. so i typed out the word cookies, then put it in a bold font and big letters. After that i highlighted the word and the picture and did the clipping maks and was left with the word COOKIES with cookies inside it.
